GOOGLE HOLDS THE LINE: Well, almost. Last week they balked at the Bush administration's request to help analyze how often underage kids accidentally get porn on the web. Google cited the need to avoid government interference. Now we know they've agreed to do whatever the communist Chinese government wants them to do... a requirement if Google expects to cash in on the new money in the PRC. Follow the moolah.

LA TIMES COLUMNIST TRASHES THE MILITARY: Liberal wussie Joel Stein sticks to his claim that he's NOT supporting the troops and he's proud of it. He writes that men and women in uniform are the ones responsible for what's happening in Iraq, and they ought to consider the morality of what they're doing. (What? SO they should lay down arms right away and let the terrorists win?) Stein agreed to be on the Wednesday Larson show, then in an act of typical liberal "bravery", bailed at the last minute.
