SELECTIVE AMNESIA

A new Foreign Affairs magazine article reveals the latest example of how people can be ignorant of history... which leads to ambivalence and lack of conviction. In other words, they can become easily duped by less-than-honest leaders. This story concerns Russia today... but there are lessons for the USA in this study of a "forgetful attitude" as well.
