TUESDAY UPDATE

Yes, this IS a long slog... left Afghanistan Monday afternoon Kabul time (4AM Monday in San Diego) then off to Dubai for a long layover. Now I'm writing from London and it's 12:01AM Tuesday in So Cal (8:01AM here in the UK)! Down to my last two flights, the final stretch from Atlanta to SD. It's been a marvelous, enlightening trip....
