CIA IN TURMOIL
Word is that President Bush will nominate Gen. Michael Hayden to replace Porter Goss. Dems are already whining about Hayden's defense of wire tapping (they still don't get it: taps are tracking the bad guys... and oh, by the way, there's a war on). This is the standard DNC playbook. When Atty. Gen. Alberto Gonzales is in the news, they scream about how he supports "torture" (good grief). Same type of rap against Hayden. But there's also flack about Gen. H. coming from the U.S. House on the GOP side. Going to be a very interesting Monday --- Tony Snow's first day in front of the media as White House Press Secretary.
