IRAQ WAR STIRS UP TERRORISM?
So says a government report that was (oh-so-conveniently) leaked to the New York Times:

I reported on that fact ONE YEAR ago, after my first trip to the Middle East. This is not a mystery. Of course the bad guys get upset and fight harder, recruiting more fellow bad guys. It's war. It happens. Watch the Democrats pounce all over this, making it seem that the terrorists would have left us alone if only we'd ignored Saddam. What a bunch of bunk.
