LET'S BE FAIR

In the wake of his blunt comments about the Muslim faith, the Pope issues his second apology in two days: www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601087&sid=aKbMHhuvCE6A&refer=worldwide_news Will this be enough? Time will tell. But let's consider the bigger question: Do leaders of faith groups have a right to be clear about what they believe? Of course. In the meantime some Christian churches have been attacked by Islamic radicals in protest of the Pope's words. When is the last time you recall Christians attacking a mosque? And the next time an Islamic leader lashes out at Christian Americans, for example, I guess there should be demands for a continuing apology, too. It's only fair.
