ARNOLD VS. PHIL WRAP-UP

As I told the Governor in Sacramento last night (where I emceed his post-debate event), there will be a couple of the usual media outlets claiming Angelides got some traction in the debate. That's sooooo predictable. Case in point: www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2006/10/08/BAGF1LL5L07.DTL Phil's on "equal footing" with the Governor just by "showing up"? Oh brother. Anyone who wants a vision of the future under Phil (hevaen forbid) just needs to look into his eyes... and the image of Nancy Pelosi in the audience cheering him on. The reality is that Arnold is on a roll and Angelides tried but can't overcome his I-love-taxes view of California.
