BOB WOODWARD, UNVARNISHED

As the media adoration continues, taking everything he says in his new book as gospel, Woodward admits what we've suspected. On NBC this morning, Matt Lauer presses him as to why he would hold all this info until now? If he had damning details of deception that could save American lives... and he knew that months ago... why wait until the book tour? In a moment of candor, Woodward says his publisher and bosses at the Washington Post just wanted him to get it out in time for the election. Uh. Watergate passions revisited. I guess politics are more important... hmmmm.
