And isn't that much more negative than what candidates say about each other? This is where members of both parties should remember that talking down America doesn't help. Selectively forgetting to say, for example, that some people or even many are in one problem or another leads to stump speeches only filled with words that make it sound like our country is 100% lost, in a hole, a national disaster on all fronts... "unless you elect me". Let's remember, as my friend Cal Thomas often says, we're "voting for President, not savior."
