SHE'S ALIVE

Hillary Clinton scores a big win in Pennsylvania, and the campaign bucks may flow in. The experts take on all this is that "negative campaigning" made voters cranky... dare we even
suggest "bitter": http://abcnews.go.com/PollingUnit/Politics/story?id=4703379&page=1 But after watching the speeches tonight from both Clinton and Obama, it's clear that any American who isn't paying attention to more than what politicians say is getting only a "woe is you unless you elect me" message. And isn't that much more negative than what candidates say about each other? This is where members of both parties should remember that talking down America doesn't help. Selectively forgetting to say, for example, that some people or even many are in one problem or another leads to stump speeches only filled with words that make it sound like our country is 100% lost, in a hole, a national disaster on all fronts... "unless you elect me". Let's remember, as my friend Cal Thomas often says, we're "voting for President, not savior."
