ON THE USS RONALD REAGAN IN THE PERSIAN GULF
Greetings from the Middle East! I arrived safely on the Reagan this morning, making an arrested landing on the carrier deck (aka "tailhooking") early. I've been spending time visiting officers and sailors throughout the ship, interviewing them for our special Monday show on KOGO. This is the ship's maiden deployment and things are very busy in this part of the world. Tensions are plenty, and the USS Ronald Reagan and its strike group send the powerful "Peace Through Strength" message throughout the region. I'll be onboard through Monday, then off to other Middle East locations with U.S. Central Command. I'll also be in Afghanistan for several days. Coming soon: Photos from our various locations, posted here on the Blog and at www.kogo.com
