AMERICA NEEDS MORE...

... Paul Harveys.  The legendary broadcaster passed away today at ago 90. There was no one else like him, and his voice and views will be sorely missed. It's ironic that his "page 2, page 3" etc newspaper style was silenced as newspapers are also biting the dust. He drove many "professional" radio programmers nuts with his old-time delivery and huge chunks of time required for his daily broadcasts (like the 15 minute "news and comment" report that was top-rated for decades). Even on a bad day in recent weeks when his voice was failing he managed to cram more content into one show than some broadcasters do in a lifetime. But Paul Harvey was successful because he was unique and bold and all-American. We need more like him... and soon. God bless Paul Harvey and his rich, very important legacy.
