WE REMEMBER

On this day in 2001, America changed forever. Today we salute those who gave the ultimate sacrifice in the 9/11 attacks, and the heroes who remain steadfast in our country's mission to fight terrorism. Listen throughout the day on KOGO for continuing coverage, fly your flag proudly and never forget what happened on this day in history. I'll be broadcasting from our exclusive Fox News/KOGO studio on location at Ground Zero from 12 Noon to 3PM Pacific (NewsRadio 600 KOGO and www.kogo.com)

LIVE FROM NEW YORK 8:30AM Eastern: As I write this, I am looking down on the "pit" to the small pools of water that mark where the World Trade Center Towers once stood and near where preparations are being made to build the new Freedon Tower. The only remaining stairwell that was connected to the north tower to Vesey street stands as a monument to those who were able to use it for escape. Flags are lined up on the ramp leading into the area where, in the next few minutes, there will be moments of silence to mark when the hijacked planes hit the towers. Then the names of all of the victims will be read on this fifth anniversary of the attacks. Ceremonies will also be held at the Pentagon and in Shanksville, PA. Stay tuned for live updates throughout the day on KOGO.
